Summer 2025 Activities

Our schedule of funded summer events for care experienced children and young people are taking place throughout the school holidays in July and August 2025. They include a range of activities – from a residential trip to days out, and visits to local experiences such as paintballing and bowling. Take a look at our schedule below for details.

Summer of Fun 2025 schedule

Week 1

Tuesday 22 July, 12:00pm – 5:00pm – Paintballing, Cardiff (12 years and over)

Wednesday 23 July – Skewen park splash pool and picnic (under 12s)

Thursday 24 July, 4:00pm – 6:00pm – Board games and fake away (12 years and over)

Week 2

Monday 28 July, 11:00am – 1:00pm – Brunch for all ages at Roots

Wednesday 30 July, 2:00pm – 4:00pm – Buzz trampoline park for all ages

Friday 1 August, 12:00pm – 4:00pm – Oxwich Bay paddleboarding and beach day for all ages

Week 3

Tuesday 5 August, 12:00pm – 4:00pm – Clyne Farm activity day (12 years and over)

Wednesday 6 August, 2:00pm – 4:00pm – Ninja Warrior (under 12s)

Friday 8 August, 5:00pm – 7:00pm – Quiz night and BBQ at Roots (12 years and over)

Week 4

Monday 11 to Wednesday 13 August – Summer Residential Trip (12 years and over)

Friday 15 August, 12:00pm – 2;00pm – Bowling for all ages

Week 5

Monday 18 August, 11:00am – 1:00pm – Brunch for all ages at Roots

Tuesday 19 August, 2:00pm – 3:00pm – Air tag for all ages

Wednesday 20 August, 6:00pm arrival at Roots – Roots sleepover (12 years and over)

Week 6

Tuesday 26 August, 12:00pm – 2:00pm – Breakout room (15 years and over)

Thursday 28 August, 6:00am leaving Roots – Trip to Legoland
